Watermill Bridge - Public Exhibition Thursday 2nd September 2021

Further to the commencement of the community consultation on Watermill Bridge. Bewley Homes are holding a public exhibition on Thursday 2nd September to present the proposals and invite feedback from the community. They are planning to hold the public exhibition within close proximity of the Site at the Woodpecker Public House within their marquee from 3pm until 7pm. Cruel treatment to livestock.

“A local landowner has raised concerns over the cruel treatment of his livestock in the field at the corner of Andover Drove and Enborne Street. The field is crossed by a public footpath and is popular with walkers. Four teenagers were seen in the field throwing stones at the cattle. When challenged they ran off and were unfortunately too fleet of foot to be caught. We know that youngsters have a lot of time on their hands and little to entertain them during these times but abuse of livestock is not acceptable and does have consequences for the perpetrators when caught! “ Read More...
